The "George Morris Factor" - Independence, Truth and Action Our organizational independence was born when George offered his 1988 Corvette to be raffled and the proceeds were used as the seed for a trust fund for the George Morris Centre. Others responded to George's gesture and donated to create Canada's first and only independent agri-food think-tank in 1990.
The value of self-sufficiency "Owned" by our membership, our self-sufficiency allows us to play a progressive, unbridled role in shaping the landscape of the Canadian agri-food sector. Maintaining this capacity hinges on our ability to attract clients and members, serve their needs, maintain a public profile... and build support for our endowment fund. With that in mind, we're seeking a select group of individuals who have prospered from the industry, want to give something back and understand the opportunity the Centre presents to influence the future of agri-food.
Your donation will yield maximum tax advantages Your support will realize its maximum tax advantage - for both yourself and the Centre - through our associate's expertise in advanced financial planning for charitable contributions.
