The Canadian Total Excellence in Agricultural Management (CTEAM) program is the most innovative program of its kind in Canada. The top 20% of farmers in Canada come together to learn from each other, network and access the top agricultural experts in Canada.
Here’s why CTEAM participants find the course so valuable:
- Content and instruction – outstanding instructors and mentors present cutting edge management concepts in a relaxed, yet intense learning environment. The on-site portions are delivered over five-day periods at select locations across Canada. They introduce you to a variety of management situations, experiences and conditions.
- Learning is tailored to your situation – graduation requirement is to apply course material while developing a strategic and operating plan for your farm.
- Learning from each other – CTEAMers invariably comment on how much they learn from each other because of the high level of aspiration and performance they bring to the course. As you develop your plan, you get instant and expert feedback from 19 other farm managers.
- The opportunity to see outstanding operations – one reason we move the program around Canada is to include elective tours of interesting and creative operations in the different regions. CTEAM participants promptly made them required and the tours are regarded as one of the highlights – you get to learn much more about your country and to see some of its outstanding agricultural managers.
- A life-long network – participants from the first course are still in touch with each other, and continue to benefit from each other’s wise counsel. This always comes up as a wonderful benefit of the program.
