Research Fellows Research Fellows are recognized as outstanding researchers in their fields. Those fields will be the ones the Centre has interest in from a research perspective. The role of Fellows will be:
- to assist the Centre in identifying and evaluating positions on major issues.
- helping to establish research priorities in their areas of expertise.
- providing leadership, where applicable, on training programs that result from the research programs.
- preferred participants on research teams.
In most cases, the Research Fellow will work with a staff member of the Centre on research programs and/or research priorities. This will assist the development of the Centre’s research priorities while, at the same time, assisting to develop our staff competencies.
The following Research Fellows have been named by the Board of Directors:
Tim Ball, Ted Bilyea, Julia Christensen Hughes, Gary Fread, Remy Lambert, George Leroux, and Randy Westgren
Associates Associates are people with whom we have a preferred relationship in working on projects. They add to the “stable” of human resources that the Centre can offer in its contract/consulting role.
The criteria for selecting Associates include:
- people or companies who have solid strengths and reputations in areas of our interest.
- people who have solid reputations in particular geographic regions.
- people who are inclined to share work - i.e. those who will work with us and invite us to work with them.
- people who can assist us in attracting funding for our research efforts.
- people who are of high integrity.
