This report examines the factors currently having the greatest negative impact on the sector.  It was commissioned by the Canadian Pork Council, Canada Pork International, and the Canadian Meat Council.  This week these industry organizations presented an appeal to the federal government to assist with short and long term competitiveness issues.  The recommendations were sent in the form of a report entitled "Canadian Pork Value Chain: Strengthening our Competitiveness", which incorporated the findings of the George Morris Centre Report.  Please visit www.cpc-ccp.com to view the industry report.
