An exciting new value chain management training tool has been developed by the George Morris Centre, in conjunction with ACC Farmers' Financial and Farm Credit Canada.  This tool provides clear evidence of the financial benefits that can be achieved by everyone along the chain, from farmers and agri-food businesses to consumers, through the successful formation and management of value chains. 

Available in either DVD or CD ROM format, the material includes information from participants in successful value chains around the globe.  They explain the management of their operations and the benefits of involvement in a value chain. 

International value chain experts also describe lessons that can be applied to other initiatives for commercial success.

The first of its kind worldwide, the project to develop these training tools was enabled by funding from the Agricultural Management Institute, and additional support from others, including the Canadian Farm Business Management Council, HUB International, and the Ontario Agricultural College.
