George Morris Centre researchers track and analyze key market developments and trends in Canadian meat, livestock, and food manufacturing segments. The Centre also has expertise in regulated marketing systems- dairy and poultry supply management, and the analysis of provincial farm product marketing regulations.

The George Morris Centre conducts research that analyzes the impact of agriculture and food policies, and analyses of the prospective policy priorities in Canadian Agriculture and food. These include broad policy directions and the programs implemented under the Growing Forward framework and provincial policies, trade liberalization and trade policy, regulatory policy, and environmental policy. We draw upon the external and internal environment to help define a strategy for future agri-food policy.
